Personally, I think the sax fits. It helps the piece live up to it's name, "World's End" (that, and those creepy hatching sounds. ZERG RUSH).

The brass isn't too bad but I would've preferred it to be left out.

There are also parts of Plain Asia in this arrangement...

Now that I listen to this again, the second part with the saxophone thing really fits, it ads a clashing note and an inner chaos to the whole song.
