One of the great strengths of the Linux Terminal Server project is the ability to "fatten" or load up applications directly on the thinclient. In this video, I show the greenBox loading up LTSP on an old laptop. I've setup Firefox and Flash to run directly from the thinclient. The result is a great flash experience, even in full screen.

  • Yeah, i tried with an old computer from 2004 (P4 2.8ghz) to ckeck if this think work fine, some month ago.

Flash is ok but I really don't like this stuff because with ltsp it's instable. I must to try again with html5 video. A second thing, you need a gigabit network (client and server) because virtualization is really hard. And 3D acceleration is very hard to do, it the big problem with LTSP, or CITRIX, or whatever.
