home made sound system, basically everything is DIY...sound system uses Mazda 3 OEM stereo system, alpine v12 amp, 10" punch p1 rockford fosgate sub, 2 mid sony xplod speaker, and a behind the seat enclosure made of 3/4 mdf, some leather and speaker wool cover.

    You can either use a Line Out Converter (Google it)

    to get the signal out of your stock head unit to your amplifier, and then to your subs/speakers.

    But, stock head units usually cut the bass, so if you want to hook up a subwoofer, use the MTX Re-Q5.

    It re-ups the bass before sending the signal to your amp.
