Dr. Lahar Mehta, MS Center, Evergreen Healthcare

The MS Center at Evergreen improves the quality of life for multiple sclerosis patients and their families through a comprehensive program of diagnosis, treatment and support. Key services at the MS Center include: initial diagnostic evaluations, comprehensive neurological care, comprehensive rehabilitative care, counseling for social and vocational issues, access to cutting-edge clinical trials and independent research, along with many other services for patients with MS.
Dr. Lahar Mehta is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He specializes in MS and has participated in numerous clinical trials. Dr. Mehta finished a fellowship in Experimental Therapeutics and Clinical Neuroimmunology at the University of Rochester Medical Center, New York under the mentorship of the late Dr. Steven Schwid, an expert in MS research and treatment. During his fellowship, Dr. Mehta was awarded the Sylvia Lawry Physician Fellowship Award granted by the National MS Society.
The MS Center is at the widely-recognized Evergreen Neuroscience Institute located in the state-of-the-art DeYoung Pavilion, adjacent to Evergreen Hospital. The DeYoung Pavilion is home to Evergreen's Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services and the Evergreen MS Center. By bringing our key rehabilitation services together under one roof, we are able to coordinate complex rehab treatment plans with our teams and support our patients' needs and those of their loved ones.
