Couple things:
First, I think the Suzuki Equator is an excellent truck. Great warranty, handsome, and powerful. Personally I like the fascia on the Suzuki more that the Nissan's. Also because the Tacoma has a better look front end ( which the Equator takes designing ques from).
Now for facts. Suzuki did NOT steal from Nissan because stealing an entire car design is highly illegal. Suzuki teamed up with Nissan to make this truck. NOT Toyota. Check Wikipedia.

It costs hundreds of millions to produce a new vehicle. In addition, The Nissan Equator is a very capable truck. It may be the same truck bu the Equator offers a way better WARRANTY. Ultimately, making it a better value than the Nissan.
Suzuki has a seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, as opposed to Nissans five-year/60,000-mile coverage.
If your going to own this vehicle for more than 3-5 years and drive it rough, I would definitely purchase the Suzuki for the warranty.

Why would Suzuki, take a truck from another Automaker, like Nissan, and just put their name on it ? Why not design your own ?, How will this really sale ?

no it is not, You can't get the 6speed with the Suzuki. Check Suzuki's website.. only on the Nissan

actually the 6 speed is available on the V6 version.
