Read my comment again, I didn't say the U.S. was fighting in '39, and yes, "Lend Lease" is correct. (And no, Europe has still never repaid the debt.)

ps I am not your sweetheart.

The US of America was not actively involved in hostilities until after Pearl Harbour was attacked, although yes, they did help by shipping arms and goods to Europe (Lend-Lease was the term used at the time, I believe).
Also I am well aware of when the War started, why are you repeating the year I stated?
Saying that the US was involved from the start is false. They may have been involved logistically, but they sure weren't fighting anywhere until Pearl Harbour.

World War 2 began in 1939 following the Nazi invasion of Poland to be exact sweetheart. The U.S. spent the first two years preparing for it, and building their forces, which is what ultimately got the econmomy going following "The great Depression". The U.S. was involved from the start, and they did in fact ship France and Britain whatever supplies they could muster.

WW2 did NOT start at Pearl Harbor in 1941.
WW2 started in 1939.
Pearl Harbor got the USA involved.
-
This is NOT where WW2 started.
WW2 had been going on since 1939 before Pearl Harbour got bombed in December 1941!
Pearl Harbour caused the US to get involved.
-

Haha. That's me at 00:12 in the blue shirt, baggy pants, and brown hat, working at the snack shop. I was probably working on the soda or coffee machines.
