@lamborghinicorvette i fly my 250 on a futaba 6j, with hk motor, esc, battery, and servos. it flies really nice, has plenty of power (i have to limit throttle to 60% when i fly in my school gym so as to not slam the ceiling) and only cost me about $200 including transmitter and charger. i could have it work fine for $150 if i used a turnigy 9x. you must have a heli made out of solid diamond and a transmitter made of mur to get a 250 size heli up to $2000

uhhh.... buy a HK 250GT and save yourself the money

flying low and hot = disaster!

LOL unbreakable!

I would love to get one of these, buy they seem really sensitive in simulator, right now I am doing MILD 3D with the MCP-X, and that is really fun. I had a trex 450 at one point but I am a shitty builder so the thing had a failure, and got totalled against my fence :(. should I get a 250 ? are the hard to build and hard to fly ?

If this person actually paid $2000 for it in USD than he's an idiot. I could make a descent 450 for under $150 including receiver.(no hardcore 3d). for all you saying it's impossible to make one cost that much I disagree. Use a turbo prop micro jet engine (yes they exist), full ceramic ball bearings, top of the line servos($100 each), have all metal parts custom machined from titanium(including bolts), everything else is carbon and name brand. That should about do it. lol!!

The poor t-rex :(

It depends what setup you run. Around 400-500$ without transmitter and reciever.
