i have to ask though, and i'm seeing your videos for the first time so many apologies for possibly repeating any question, do you copy from another picture? or collectively draw from memory?

@m1swahili it depends on the subject. When I am drawing portraits, I need to copy, either from live models or from photos. I never knew anybody who could draw a portrait without looking at the model, anyway.

@thedrawinghands If I may say thats because drawing a portrait from memory takes a photographic memory( which technically doesn't exist) to make it look realistic, or else as you go to draw it, the picture you have in your head will not and will never match what you actually draw exactly, since the human mind can only focus on 7 things at once the details are farbricated as you go along, which they obviously won't match up to the orginal picture in mind

would it be possible for you to do a tutorial video or something of the sort, showing us how you draw noses. As i believe them to be the thing i struggle with the most, i can draw skulls, no problem, dimensions, propotians , etc, but i cant seem to get noses looking like i want. Thanks if you reply, that would be brilliant and help me out alot in my Art GCSE, we are doing portraits next, so i thought i would look through some videos. :)
