The eagles of Norfolk Botanical Gardens have moved to a new nest for 2008 and are still "fine tuning" in preparation for the next family of little eaglets. Last year this pair successfully fledged three with the first egg being laid on January 31, 2007, so the excitement is mounting as they have already been observed mating .
The cameras have been moved and the operators (affectionately nicknamed "zoomers") have done their "fine tuning", also. One exciting change for 2008 is the addition of Infrared Light so the nest can now be observed 24/7.
Happy eagle watching!!!
