Each month, NDSS provides a free educational webinar to anyone who is interested in learning more about various topics relating to Down syndrome, including health, education, advocacy, family life, research and more. In July 2013, the Webinar Seies topic was Presuming Competence Every Day in the Classroom: Inclusive Supports for Students with Down Syndrome.

During this presentation inclusive education expert Dr. Cheryl Jorgensen, PhD offers specific examples of inclusive classroom supports, particularly in the area of accessible instructional materials.
