  • No better analogy for the government. Nominate an elitist snob with no judicial experience to the Supreme Court, elect a pretend comedian to the senate

  • He's not sleeping, that's the same face I get when the teacher is talking about irrelevant, impotent crap and I'm forced to listen to it.

  • you should change the title to "about to fall asleep". there was no actual sleeping, he just looked like he was bored out of his mind and about to pass out

  • If they chastised and ejected every member of the House or Senate who ever started to nod off during a hearing or testimony, the Congress Chambers would be entirely empty.

Give the man a break. The last Senate Majority Leader was visibly quite sleepy during Obama's State of the Union Address last year, and John McCain fell sound asleep during one of George Bush's !

  • @eelzen Liberals are just misinformed by the MSM!!!

  • @avi8r1 You call that a blink?? Definition of Blink: Blinking is the voluntary rapid closing and opening of the eyelid. It is an essential function of the eye that helps spread tears across and remove irritants from the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva. .. The key word is rapid. He was clearly dosing of during a speech. I mean why stand up for the guy? It's not supposed to prove anything other than the fact that he was caught dosing off, when he should have been paying attention.

  • He's sooo ugly

  • Franken is such a moron.

  • Yep that sure is a video of Al Franken blinking. What's this supposed to prove?

  • @eelzen: I will admit to that. If the American people would hold our elected officials accountable for what we want rather than vote party lines we wouldn't have most of the crap out there that is going on. Have a good 4th of July.
