Mark Farkas, C-SPAN's executive producer of History Programming discusses the upcoming 90 minute feature documentary "The White House: Inside America's Most Famous Home." Mr. Farkas gives a sneak peek at the video resulting from unprecedented access to the White House. That access included an exclusive tour of the private residence by the First Lady, an interview with the President and a look at the newly refurbished Lincoln bedroom.
This looks like it'll be a great week of programming, very cool!

Solar calculators work just as well as battery operated calculators. The solar panels take up less space than batteries do. They operate even without direct light. Why would solar power plants be less efficient that nuclear power plants? That's zany. I wouldn't even want a nuclear powered calculator. It's a small-scale example. Solar energy needs to be brought down to earth as a real option. Let's face it, it's the most rational choice. Let's figure it! Vote yes on Prop 7! Make your voice heard!

I wonder if his legal name is Marcus. If so, he has great parents. "Marcus Farkas" that's too good a laugh to pass up.
