The Valley Fair Shopping Center was a shopping mall in Appleton, Wisconsin which opened on March 10, 1955. The mall billed itself as the first enclosed mall in the United States,[1][3] though the Westminster Arcade predates it by 126 years. Demolition of parts of the shopping center began on August 8, 2007.[3]

This will be nice/interesting to watch in 15-20 years when the Fox River Mall becomes abandoned and/or eventually torn down like it inevitably will be. As sad as that is to say.

@bongarifik There used to be stuff in the Avenue Mall in the early to mid nineties, then things started going away. The mall itself is a really neat structure, always loved to go there as a kid; tossing coins in the big water fountain, going to the candy shop, riding on all those escalators. Most of it is still the way it was originally, although the interior has been lighty remodeled. It sure would have been neat if The Avenue would have thrived as a mall, but there were reasons it did not.

yeah northland mall is rly boring, its only festival and like shopko, i live kind of by fox river mall, my best friend owns Mister G's sports bar (his parents own it, were only 13), and when did they take taco bell out? lol
The Northland Mall is really boring, The Fox River Mall is the best, Valley Fair was boring when it was still in business. He left out JCPenney and Younkers as anchor stores in the Fox River mall.
