  • Taxes on business, capital (which includes land) or income are totally anti-American. They do nothing but give Congress carte blanche on the people's wealth. As long as our elected leaders can take whatever they want from us without our permission or approval, they have no incentive to respect our rights or consider our best interests, but have every incentive and opportunity to exploit us for their own interests. Please, support the Fair tax.

  • Both the flat tax and the fair tax(sales tax) still tax labor, capital investment and saving because if anyone or all of those things are your source of income you have to pay out of that income. The only tax that does not fall on labor, capital, manufactured goods or savings is the tax on land value because land value is 100% created by the community as a whole and is added to by all public services from local to federal. Any tax not on land values disproportionately benefits land owners.

  • Flat tax approaches have become popular in several eastern European countries like Estonia.
