Sanger & Wodan - Rest in the Cradle

One of the best events in SRW OGs, IMO.

This is the last stage of the Earth Cradle route, in which you fight the Machinary Children (Anthuz, Thurisuz). The guy with blue hair is Egret Feff and the boy with crazy hair is Uruz (the last Machinary Child).

Sanger finally declares he is the Blade of Sophia ("Ware koso wa Sophia no tsurugi nari!") - Sophia Nate - and Wodan performs his impressive final attack against Feff and his Machinary Children.

Is it me or Sanger appears to be singing when he says "waga zankantou ni, tatenu mono nashi" here? That isn't the normal tone of his voice.

For those who don't have a grasp of Japanese, the start is Wodan and Sanger discussing Sophia, and the fact that Sanger should truly be her protector. Sanger, surprised by this, moves to her, and Egret sends Uruz to stop him. Uruz is surprised that Sanger manages to deflect his attack from behind, prompting "Shut up! AND LISTEN!" After the cleave, Egret comments on Sanger killing him instantly, to which Sanger replies as he should. "I told you... there is nothing I cannot cut."

The only reason this scene wasn't in the anime was because they couldn't find any possible way to include it without the Einst and the Inspectors fleeing for their lives after witnessing, from outer fucking space, Wodan swing his mech's sword with so much damn power that it caused a bigass explosion that pretty much destroyed the entire facility that was specifically designed to withstand the end of the world. All to cut a single man.

Now stop it with the complaints.
