Trucks of today, combined with EGR, carbon particulate filters, and diesel exhaust fluid are actually driving down the highways cleaning the air. The air that comes in through the intake is actually dirtier than the air that comes out the exhaust. I find this whole pollution business quite amusing considering no one has done there homework. Cool video btw

@GTPGuy19 because your talking about particularization filter systems, which are only on newer trucks or older trucks that have been modded, not all trucks have these systems, go research it!!

@TheDh0ffryn When diesel particulate is burned off in the filter the remaining gases inside the DPF (diesel particulate filter) is then combined with diesel exhaust fluid. The fluid is a Urea and water mix that is added to the remaining NOX emissions. This chemical reaction turns all NOX gases into pure nitrogen and H20 which are both naturally occurring elements on earth. No offence man but I have no idea what this carbon monoxide/dioxide is your speaking of.

@GTPGuy19 another thing you forgot to add, Carbon monoxide vs carbon dioxide, petrol=more monoxide less dioxide, diesel=less monoxide more dioxide, from what i learnt at school monoxide is harder for plants to convert into oxygen! and a diesel blowing black smoke, is cleaner then petrol fumes that you can see!
