[Hudson, Wisconsin] As we head into the heart of the summer months, national liberal organizations are focusing their political efforts on the Wisconsin state senate recalls.

At the recent Netroots Nation annual conference, held in neighboring Minnesota, leaders from several national organizations discussed their coordinated efforts to elect a Democratic state senate in Wisconsin. Participants at the conference put in some sweat equity as well, boarding a bus and traveling to Hudson, Wisconsin where they distributed literature and knocked on voters' door on behalf of Shelly Moore, the Democratic candidate and union activist running against Sheila Harsdorf (R-River Falls).

I thought recall elections were for politicians that break the law, not for politicains who vote the way the said they would durring campains.

I guess I can see recalling the Democrats, they fled from thier duties.

public unions are the problem. I am not against unions per se, but public unions should not be allowed.

Punch "Wisconsin School District Goes From $400K Deficit To $1.5 Million Surplus" into to your search bar to see what happens when common sense is applied.

What a bunch of lazy, useless hacks.

Shelly Moore is another reason why we need to get rid of the NEA.

@modernfreestyle: Joe and Jane public need to wake up and realize the country is being taken over by ALEC. The language for the big changes in Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, etc. is coming from the American Legislative Exchange Council handbook. Check out ALEC's Model Legislation. The joke is on the average, uninformed citizen. Big business is sticking it to Joe and Jane public, not public unions. When you figure that out, it will be too late.

Michelle Bachmann & the Americans for Prosperity called WI citizens from MN re: the recall election. The Repubs hired an out of state company to get signatures & are running "fake" democrats. So who is corrupt? WI people from all walks of life, including private & public unions & nonunions gathered signatures. If caring about the health & education of all of our citizens makes me a socialist, so be it. Read the language in budget & check out who contributed to Walker's campaign. Disgusting.
