Maynard fought to stop the war in Iraq. All poetry is political even you go with the 13 step and aMotion explanation. Bush is a born again AA guy. He believed that he was on a crusade in his righteousness. Most killing is done in righteousness! Many recovering addicts have taken thier self centered addict self and made it into a self centered saint. Maynerd is deeper than to leave this on any one hook but I send this to Bush/Chenney and anyone else choosing violence for "good"!
