1980 BMW M535i retrospective

I took this video to get some moving footage of my car and also put together a synopsis of all the hard work I've put into the car since I purchased it in 2003. It's been a long road to get her to the state she is in now.

I completely agree. My problem is that I think the black center wheels won't go well with the Motorsport stripes so I want to get the centers swapped out for silver ones or else get new wheels. But I do want to get the Motorsport stripes on the car, SOON.

Yep, I had it at the Chicago BMWCCA's Vintage Day in 2005 and 2006.  I'll be at 5er Fest (E12 and E28 gathering) in May '07 with the car. Thanks for the comments.

Hi there. Your car is awesome! I also own the same car in white with the ASS seats. I am looking for the M-Stripes, but BMW only can deliver the stripes for the sides but not for the front and rear. If you have an adress or a link to an alternative, I will be very glad if you can tell me.

Haven't seen this in a few years. God it makes me miss my 533i! It's undergoing restoration. Also plan on converting to a manual. Your car sounds awesome with the stock exhaust - cool looking too (like the early euro 635s) - doesn't dilute the glorious wail of the M30.
