This video was recorded about 9/7/08. Looking back, I can see a lot of things I did poorly. CC at the wrong time, or letting myself lose LOS so I couldn't get it at the right time.. I didn't keep a fairie fire up on the rogue enough, so he was able to vanish more than he should have. Also the clicking. My ui has changed slightly from this one already, a good part of which included the switch to restokin, and additional macros to speed up drinking and weapon switching, all of which are now on keybinds. There's the odd spell here and there that I need to click now, but mostly everything I can reach very quickly.

I recorded this video as an 11/11/39 spec, which worked fine for the time. I finally switched to a restokin spec since upgrading my gear the point of making it viable, and do not regret it. It'll help to prepare me for the druid wotlk talents which should be out anytime now, and I've found how helpful it is to add some dps of my own to gib a dps while the healer is cc'd. Now that I don't have charge anymore, I'm actually looking forward to all these other druids not having it. It sucks having a CC charged, though I expect it'll suck even more to only have 70% pushback resistance rather than 100% on cc casts.

As you can see, I've upgraded from Windows Movie Maker, and chosen Adobe Premiere Elements 4 instead. It's been working great, and doesn't crash over and over. Though it's been a pain finding the right format to encode to get the best youtube video in high quality. What works for some other people, just didn't work for me. Oh well.

Anyone can tell me what downranked heals to use in 2v2 tbc

@Kyledmw Heals were a waste to use downranks on. Just lifebloom for a cheap heal. You want to use downranking on things like entangling roots. That reduced mana costs from like 300 to about 50 and let you spam the shit out of it.

What is the addon that announce their CC in the chat channel ?

@wilkinsos It wasn't an addon, but was actually a macro that I made that was something like this and turned into a button with the same name and icon as the CC:

/cast cyclone

/raidwarning %targetcharactername

It's been so long since I last played wow that I absolutely guarantee you those identifiers are not correct, but it LOOKED something like that. I bet if you ask in trade chat or on the wow forums you'll get an answer on how to do it very quick.

@pallypowerftw Pretty much. I've got a ton of other recordings too, they're just not as good. Either us losing or tearing apart a horribly noobish team. Still fun to reminisce by watching them occasionally :)
