My budgie taking a shower

My budgie, my love, my sweetheart, my little honeybunny taking a shower in the sink.

Facts about him:
His name is Peppe and about 9 years old, I've had him since he was a baby (a few weeks, he was big enough to leave the nest).
He can not talk (it sounds close to talk though, you can hear he's imitating what you say) but bark like a dog and loves to terrorise me all day long. He's very affectionate and often wants to sit on my finger next to my face leaning against my nose while closing his eyes, it's so cute. Unfortunately he's not so comfortable with the camera so the only time he acts natural infront of it is when he showers. God I love that bird...

@simplemadness: Did you know that you are wasting a lot of water? Why don't you try a bird bath? They are sold at pet stores. I got mine at Petco. Not to be mean, but be nicer to Mother Earth.

@BirdsRock11 We didn't do this very often only once or twice a month or so. He never understood those bird baths, we tried from when we got him when he was less than 6 monts to the last year of his life when he was 8 or 9 years old. I'm very environmental-friendly and recycle and buy mostly second hand clothes and so on, and as I said we only did this occassionally :)
