The WB Signs Off

The final promo of the WB. I figured this is a little piece of television history, it's the first major network I've seen sign off. UPN acutally shut down first, but not many parts of the country got the station on their final night.

There was a time when every show I watched was on the WB. For a small network, they had some really great shows that will be considered classics in the years to come. Now we have the CW... yeah, that turned out well :-(

The WB had too many problems on their comedies and UPN had too many problems on their dramas. The TV critics were kind of careless against both networks because TV critics did not see how many fans watched them. I think there are some discontinued shows that need to be rebooted, because of the way the TV critics messed them up for no reason. Popular, Maybe It's Me, Do Over and Greetings From Tucson are examples that need to be rebooted in the future and accepted in a private network.

In Atlanta it was in reverse, I didn't see the WB sign off at all, WATL, was previewing the My Network TV programing. As for UPN, though I didn't see that, From what I read, it was wrestleing that ended UPN's era. Our UPN Station WUPA was chosen to be The CW station for Atlanta..
