43163 One off 26 10 09

A short video of the Illusive Class 43 Powercar, 43163 'Exeter Panel Signal Box, 21st Anniversary 2009', which came so near to destruction in 1997 when it was tagged onto the back of the HST set involved in the devastating Southall Crash in West London which destroyed sister powercar 43173 and killed 6 people. Here it is seen at Totnes working the:

Also, there was an unrefurbished buffet down the train, I was under the impression that all of the FGW buffets had now been refurbished. In any case, they probably will be soon and chances are the one I saw was probably the last one!

the un refurbished buffets are being returned to their owners gradually as the standard buffets enter service

I guess so, I cant beleive FGW planned to cut the buffet service on Swansea services! Grrr...what a silly idea!
