Yes, I get that. But, for example, I have an 8GB iPod Touch. This takes about 1/4 of my hard drive. I don't think I'll ever be so desperate that I can't wait till I'm near an access point to search for some info. Besides, the good thing about Wikipedia is that it's constantly updating. In order to get the latest updates you'd have to download the Wiki dump at least once a week. It's just not worth it.
