The tender conscience of an acting luvies- in what must be the most sexist wage differential based industry in the world. I wonder if the lead actresses got paid as much as Bob? One things for sure - Hoskin's accent wasn't made in Dagenham. For the record; the unions largely colluded with unequal pay to favour the traditional male 'breadwinner'. The main reason the law was first changed in 1970 (not 1975) was to facilitate UK entry into the Common Market (which the unions opposed).
