Time Lapse - Merlin Deluxe Multi Function Mount - First Test

This is the first test of my Merlin Deluxe Multi Function Mount made by Sky-Watcher. As you can see, I use 3 speeds in this short film. The fastest, 8X is waaaaayyyy to fast so no use for time lapse. The 4X and 1X are the only two speed of any use.

No I haven't. I did look into some software to control it but that was over a year ago at most of the stuff I found was for the meade...

Hi - could you tell me what kind of speeds this will pan & tilt? I'm looking for something that will do a sweep of about 30 - 90 degrees over say 5 minutes. when you say 4X what does that mean? Thanks.

I'm surprised you've found the x8 rate too fast for timelapse. I shot one recently which appears to be much slower than in your video
