@Snipeforthehead You have to drag the mod files into the appropriate folders, the modder normally describe how in the description of their mods. Alternatively you can download the Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) and download the OBMM versions of mods (if they're available) and it installs them with less of a hassle.
The modding process is no different for the disc version than the downloaded copy of Oblivion.

@olivierhacking Depends on what mod you download. Check out the readme in the mod zip file or the description on the mod site and it should tell you.

I think warglaives are demon hunter's blades from W3 xD

@namenemas That would be the ones, or you can compare them to Illidan's blades in WoW/Warcraft.
