It is idiotic for FX to cancel this show. They promoted it so poorly that it was almost destined to fail because no one knew about it until reviews were passed by word of mouth. I heard about it from a friend and was hooked after one episode. PLEASE bring this back!!! And this is one of the best tv theme songs ever!

The cancellation of this show was a travesty. This stood to be an anthem for a new generation. Terriers is such a well done story about existential angst. It shows the shift that has arisen in this generation.

We are constantly conflicted between what is best for ourselves, our principles and what society demands for us - all while constantly being shit on by life itself.

Thank God for Netflix or I would've never found out about this little, hidden gem, what an amazing, smart, funny and entertaining show all around, I can't find one flaw in the whole series. The acting was great! Enjoyed every second of it...and FX couldn't of done a more shittier job at promoting, the name probably didn't help but only if people knew about this... It would've been great if another station saw it's brilliance and potential and picked it up but who knows, maybe there's still hope?

Turns out this show ISN'T a sitcom about dogs. It's actually a really good crime comedy/drama. I can't imagine why anyone would bury a show under so much bad advertising that nobody who would be interested in it would ever even consider watching it. Even on most poorly advertised shows you get a vague idea of the style of the show, or at least the genre. Not here. The real shame is that this show is canceled while the marketing genius who came up with "let's videotape some dogs" still has a job.

PS I don't even have cable televison. I despise most tv shows and how mindless and stupid they are. And I ADORED this show...if that doesn't tell you anything, I don't know what would. I had never even heard of Terriers before a family member of mine found it on netflix and suggested it to me, and even then the name didn't sound too appealing but a little ways into the first episode I knew it was freakin' gold. FX sucks!!
