  • is this guy serious? where is his proof that socialized healthcare doesn't work anywhere else?

he says that x amount of people lost their jobs and healthcare along with it and the government wanting to help those people have healthcare, and thats a bad thing?

he says he wants his healthcare in the hands of his doctor, not politician. is your doctor going to pay your doctor bills? i think not.

the interviewer should have asked better follow up questions so this guy may have made some sense.

  • Look at Canada. Why do you think they are ditching their system and going our route. IT DOESN'T WORK.

  • So you couldn't just hit reply to the comment that was already placed for you. You had to open a new one. Canada's prime minister has publicly stated that the Socialist Healthcare in his country is not working.

You run into rationed healthcare, underfunding, and other issues. He has said publicly that they are reviewing options to go back to private healthcare.

As for your facts the US has the best healthcare in the world. Why do you think people from Canada come across to the US

  • For every nurse and doctor in this country there are two healthcare organizations that are working for medicare medicaid each employing about ten to twenty people and we the people are paying those wages and benefits in what we pay in health care costs

  • Adam Putnam all your blogs are not receiving any commmetn... My family (20) + friends would like to vote for you but we need to know if you would be able to stop GMO vegetables and frutis in FL, water without fluoride or toxins, stop chemtrails over florida crops and schools, etc Are you going to stop Publix selling Organic fruits with Organic stickers that are Transgenic GMO ex. Gala Apples. If so you will get 20 + votes on Tuesday

France has the best health care in the world, google it

    #2

Health insurance as a business is fundamentally flawed because NOT treating people increases profitability, also not accepting sick people

    #3

Health insurance by its very nature is meant for unpredictable emergencies not basic care or even long term care

    #4

Employer based insurance is quite possibly the worst idea for assuring that our small businesses can succeed

    #5

COBRA is unacceptable for unemployed people who cant afford it

  • "where is his proof that socialized healthcare doesn't work anywhere else? "

Well Canada, England and any place that's tried it. I personally know of two Canadians who have died because they had to wait too long for treatment. That's why the Canadians who can afford it come south of the border in a daily stream for healthcare.

  • It is what it is. Everyone has reason for what they think is right. Try being sick and on disability with NO insurance. Will the doctors and hospitals treat you for what you can afford? Will you find affordable health insurance; if you can find one that will insure you? Or do you just suffer because that is the way it is.

Now if you are young, healthy and have no need for in insurance; should be paying for other people who are sick? What if you cannot afford the extra taxes?
