the tank

tank is a bull mastiff i work with.he's ~ 150lbs,and an absolute lovebug.he's our gentle giant,and the only time he barks is when we ask him to,like in the video.

Tank has a lot of health issues (a bad thyroid, seizures, and, more recently blindness). His owners made the difficult decision to release him from his pain. He was nearly 8 years old, and the Bull Mastiff life span is 6-8 years. I was with him when he went, and he went very peacefully. It was immensely hard for all of us, but he's in a better place, and he'll always be loved and remembered.

ive always wanted one of these dogs, but my dad got a massive american bulldog who fights with everything! so we couldnt risk the fights between them! :(

i've always had good experiences with the bull mastiffs i work with...they're very gentle and loving dogs...and even in tank's old age,he played with the other dogs and puppies.they're also supposed to be very good with children...

the only downside is their short life-span.6-8 years is too short of a time to spend with such a spectacular dog...

oh,and their poop is HUGE.

I love these dogs. They are extremely loving and gentle, despite their size!

@simplywhitneymcgee we just lost our 3 year old to intestinal cancer last month and it left my wife and I devastated. they are like your children, but unlike kids they never grow up and are always reliant on you, we get our new puppy in 3 weeks thanks for posting Tank is one speciaal boy, absolutely handsome.
