@herafan5 Yes. If you buff the powder in you run the risk of ruining your perfect application of foundation. I've noticed this when I used to use a powder brush to apply translucent. If you don't have a puff (like I don't) just press it into the skin and then later knock of the excess lightly.
@andilove18 So it's not advisable to buff powder in in circular motions? Patting and pressing with puff is preferred instead? Is this because buffing moves the foundation?

@herafan5 No the powder brush is used to knock off excess powder. It's not used to put on powder!

Why do you prefer powder puff over powder brush? Wouldn't you want to buff the powder in?
