Synopsis: Vasant, the protagonist is broad-minded doctor and against his parents' wishes, marries a girl suffering from Vitiligo, a disorder that causes de-pigmentation of patches of skin. However, even after marriage, his wife has to face criticism from her in-laws. Vasant is frustrated as his attempts to explain the disease go unheard. Vasant tries to cure the disease and proves successful to a great extent. He even offers to cure the villagers affected by the disease. However, the illiterate villagers do not let Vasant carry on with his treatment, as they believe that this disease is God's blessings and its treatment might cause severe loses to the villagers! Will Vasant be able to protect villagers from the clutches of blind faith?
