First off. Gay is not a negative adjective. It's an adjective that means happy, which is positive, and it's also a way some people choose to live their lives. Glad we have that cleared up.
Second, "thats" doesn't fit into your sentence.
Third, if you're going to use "..." make sure you're using periods and not commas.
