What years did they make this particular body style. I always loved the grill and the inverted rear window rake on these cars.

This car was made in 1961, Not sure when they changed the grill i think about 1963 when they put side lights in it.

@samr500 yeah mate ive had opne since the age of 12 im now 17 and started working on it properly mines a full fibreglass front end fibregalss doors and booot with just a roll cage and bucket seats with a 2.1 pinto in it

hi guys, im 16 and almost 17.. im thinking of doing this for a first car project as its a classic n a body shape that ive allways liked.. my dads friend has one n im haggling to get it cheap.. my dad has a crossflow engine from his caterham which i would like to put in there and replace the gearbox.. make it into a project.. anyone else done a similar thing?

Thanks for responding. I actualy did some research and found that this body style was made from 59-67. These were production years for the 105E, then they introduced the 123E super Anglia in 62-67.Same body style though with only minor trim levels. Great car , wish i had one.

love that anglia... i had one with an 1760 race engine, a 66 105e... had a full flip front on it but unfortunately somebody t boned me at a junction so it got sold for parts....
