  • She seems like such a strong, self assured, dignified woman. It also sounds like all decisions were "theirs". All the way through she said "we" and "us". It sounds like she had a strong marriage of mutual respect.

  • And you can compare yourself Solzenycin's descriptions of conditions in prison, and Dostojevsky's.

    It is hell vs heaven.

If Tzarist prisons were anything like Communist ones, Trotsky, Lenin and Stalin would not be alive today. They had enjoyed comfort of freely sending the mail, eating normal food, sometimes even pork, and often times being pardoned by Tzar.

  • @evilfromtheorient As I said, if you consider believing that Perun causes thunder is intelligent, then you have some serious brain issues.

It is during communist times that number of drunks, impotent, suicides and abortions multiplied drastically. People living in despair and fear tend to find refugee in drinking.

While during Orthodox Russia, ordinary people practices lent (abstinence from passions). There's more than 70 days of lent during the years.

  • @Htogrom

lol, anything is better than Christianity. Slavic paganism will unite Russians and make them stronger and intelligent instead of keeping them drunk, and poor which the Orthodox Church does. Also yes, Stalin pushed Russia to superpower status not any Romanov or Silly Tsar...

  • @evilfromtheorient When thunders do you think really Perun causes it?

You Chinese advocating slavic pagansim? Yes, it is beautiful, but can person really degrade itself into tinking again that tunder is result of Perun's rage?

(Same way as deluding yourself that "great strategist" Stallin is source of Russian victory rather than brave Russian people).

In Slavic lands, including mine, shift to Orthodoxy lasted 300 years. We have many old traditions, which just proves it was voluntary.

  • @Htogrom

You mean you can provide me with Orthodox propaganda about how bad paganism is? lol, also we aren't talking about Greek and Roman we are talking about Russo-Asiatic slavic pagans. I don't think that abortions are due to "communism" abortions are a response to financial trouble and overpopulation not political ideology. What's wrong with abortion anyway nobody should have children if they can't be responsible for them, lol you orthodox church has brainwashed you....

  • @evilfromtheorient I can provide you with letters from Greek and Roman merchants commanding their women to kill the child if it is a girl. That speaks enough about their pagan culture.

High rate of abortions in Orthodox countries is direct result of communism that ruled there.

Crusades began in 12th century while our conversion to Orthodoxy happened in 8th. So, maybe they time traveled. And, yes, they waged wars against us. Because they were heretics, and we were Orthodox (true Christians).

  • @Htogrom

I have no religion, the Neo-Pagan culture was far ahead of its time. In fact many pagan not JEW religions have their roots in atheism like Buddhism for example its emphasis on kindness and rational thinking inspired many atheist philosophers. Greeks and Romans killed their unwanted child??? So what you see high abortion rates in Orthodox Christian Nations like Russia how is that any different? ...Also the Crusaders raped, killed and fucked many of your ancestors to convert them.

  • And do you know who takes care about orphans, abandoned by their selfish greedy parents? Orthodox monasteries through Russia and Ukraine. That is not something new. Orthodox were always first in helping orphans, widows, prisoners, sick people. People like St John of Kronstad, St John of Shangai, St Nikolaj Velimirovic showed what it means to be Orthodox by helping thousands of people.

How come communism didn't produce these kind of people?

  • Orthodox, if you didn't know, never had crusades, inqusition, never had tyrannic Popes. In fact Orthodox Byzantine was empire in which greatest Church elders had rich education from classics like Plato, Aristotle, Socrates. Science, state and religion flourished together for thousand years. It is only after looting of Constantinople that West got in contact with that. So, many things you take as granted like renaissance and reformation are direct result of knowledge that came from the East.
