@FrenziedCalm hahaha

I heard that the cmp id not refurbishing them anymore? Do you think I could still be able to get one?
-
I want an M1 Garand, but they're expensive as shit in California.
-
i have a WWII era springfield, bought for around 675$ if i can remember. ive put many many rounds through it since ive had it, and it was one of the best rifles i have ever had the pleasure of shooting.

What kind of wood is your H&R Garand's stock made of?
-
how much are IHC garands worth? buddy if mine has one he might rid of..nice shape. stock is light, not a dark color

You should be on google adsense and get paid for ads on this video. It's worth it.

@FrenziedCalm Do you think it's better with the shiney side out or the dull side out?

Personal opinion, CMP is a bunch of F-ing bullshit. We don't have classes of Americans. We left "clicks" behind in high school. Just buy a M1 from a private party. It's even worth paying one or two hundred more just to by pass BS class rules. Like I said though, it is my personal opinion
why cover up the serial number?
hamcheesesalami 7 months ago
@hamcheesesalami - its the tracking number the government uses on guns. like a VIN on a car. Your legal ownership can be challenged via the serial number. PLUS There are super secret orbiting government satellites snapping hi rez pictures of your guns every time you leave the house, collecting all the serial number info and storing it on the international space station! COVER THOSE SERIAL NUMBERS PEOPLE, OR WRAP THE GUNS IN ALUMINUM FOIL WHEN YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE!!

Haha just out of curiosity, why do you own so many Garands?
GlocksInABox 1 year ago
@GlocksInABox - Garands were manufactured by 4 companies over the years, and I wanted 1 from each company. Springfield Armory, Winchesters, International Harvester Corp, and Harrington & Richardson. Collectors get like that... gotta have 1 example of each, were kinda obsessive.

@FrenziedCalm who had the best standards? Winchester the worst??..
wwood14 9 months ago
@wwood14 - The Winchester definitely has the roughest machining and finish. I also have a WWII era Springfield Armory that was machined a bit rough. I have a Korean era Springfield that looks great. The H&R is my personal favorite, lovely! IHC is good too. You want a historic collectable with a story and care not about machining, get a WWII piece. Want a shooter, thats a beauty inside and out, get a Korean era M1! If I had to choose I'd keep the H&R and dump the rest.
