Most of the episodes are available to watch on STV's YT pages. I've started with the original from feb 1980 and am up to about October of that year.

@Inverdarroch88 it's on sale in HMV - £9.99 for the first 6 episodes. If any subsequent DVD releases are planned wonder if they managed to find the missing 20 episodes?

This has to rate as the longest title sequence of all time.
If anyone fancies watching these shows again, probably better think twice as the makers probably wiped a lot of the original tapes ala crossroads :(
