  • For 250k I can design a better camera from scratch. And travel around the world five times.

  • this camera was used to film transformers 3

  • If I did, why would I mention rival companies like Panavision and Arri?

I've nothing against RED, but your reasoning is false. There is no point listing how much the F35 and it's accessories cost, when clearly people don't actually buy the camera, it's rented - like most equipment on a film production.

  • Do you work for Sony?

  • You clearly don't understand the professional film making workflow. Cinematographers/cameramen, filmakers will not be buying this equipment, it's for rental. The F35, much like Genesis and Arri D21 are aimed at people used to using 35mm cameras, and they designed with this in mind. the RED, whilst a good camera, comes with it's own problems and workflow issues which require new workflow.

  • my silver will crush your pixels any day!

    Digi crap.

    Film is king.

  • It just go to show Sony's overpriced, overhyped crap. For the price of an F35, you could buy 5 RED ONE's completely decked out, a complete set of Cine prime lenses, and have change to spare. By the time F35ships, RED will be right around the corner with the $40,000 EPIC, which will have more exposure latitude than Sony could ever dream up, do 100FPS at 5k, and won't need expensive add-ons like Sony's SRW HDCAM tape unit, which make the true cost around $300,000, then add lenses to that.

  • I like this video. It has a good beat, and I can dance to it.

    LONG LIVE FILM,

    ....bitches
