The Amazing City of Shanghai

I made this short video for a presentation I had to give to summarise my year, and the years of the other 25 people from Leeds University who spent their year living in the best city in China! I designed the video in 3 sections; the first one aims to capture the culture and traditions of this great city, with photos of the beautiful parks and the different areas of the city such as the Old Town, Yuyuan, and the old French and British concessions. The second part was designed to be a contrast to the first, and shows the amazing nights out and parties that we had during the year, and the great friends that we made. Finally the third part has some more nice shots of Shanghai and also shows shots of the university we went to.

I've uploaded this video so that I can share our year abroad experience with other people and also to show what a great city Shanghai is!

The music reflects the moods of the 3 different sections. The first piece is called Lotus and comes from the soundtrack of the Shanghai Era Intersection of Time acrobatic troupe. The second song used is Fire Burning by Sean Kingston and was chosen as it was very popular in the clubs in Shanghai. Finally the last piece is Proud by Heather Small.

Nearly all of the photography used during the presentation is my own, however I have taken a few photos from the internet; unfortunately some of the photos don't have watermarks on them so I can't give credit to the photographers. If your work is displayed in this video then please let me know so I can add you in this section.
