The famous poem by Edgar Allan Poe entitled "The Raven" has been reinterpreted one million times ever since its conception. Well, I wanted to contribute my share of appropriation and present you the youtube community THE SPRAVEN, The Spore Raven as I imagined a hybrid between Edgar Allan Poe and his Raven. t might be residual imagery but can't stop thinking about The Raven being a code to crack about Poe's ultimate murder. In the stories that I have "read" in my audiobooks I found a strong pattern of murders where the victim is "encapsulated" in between walls. Which could be interpreted as a metaphor of hidden meanings in between the lines. Codes trapped in between the textual lines of the poem. The Raven keeps coming back and back trying to say that something is hidden there in between the words. Sounds like a serial killer in serious need of getting caught to make sense of his actions. If you take a close read to The Raven with this biased in mind you'll start finding a lot of codes in the words. A shadow being cast with no body but a bird. A bird that represents freedom -as a soul leaving the body- but deciding to stay to make sure the murdered claims "nomore" over and over just to find out that he can't help it.

  • Annoying as hell. Not sad, not even very erie. Edgar Allen Poe's ghost is very angry at you for posting this nonsense.....

  • Artistic. I like.

  • This is stupid. What the fuck does this have to do with "The Raven"??? Oh and smoke a ton of crack and rewrite your description. It will probably come out better that way. Endless love... Dp23
