Deus Ex: Human Revolution - E3 Trailer Analysis/Review

While some elements make me remain a little skeptical, overall I found that this trailer captured the magnitude of the events pre-Deus Ex, and sets up an excellent story to be told.

Also, for everyone that asked, this analysis is so late because it kept failing on YouTube. It's been done for over a week, it's just YouTube.

All good and well, but the part when Barrett hammers Jensen so hard that concrete crumbles, that is a little out of place. Is Jensen made of titanum or something? And can Barrett provide like 'ten ton hammer' blast or what? No matter, still a great trailer.

J.C. Denton was born somewhere around 2030. Paul Denton was born before him. This game takes place in 2027, three years before the birth of the second nano-augmented person ever created. I think the game will start in Detroit where Adam will be put in charge of security of Sarif Industries HQ. Then, there will be a cyber-attack by a hacker in the HQ. Adam Jensen will then be sent in his Osprey lookalike flying transport thingy to Hengshan Road in Shanghai and there the plot will thicken ^_^

I myself think that the civs in this game look like they walked right in from the Renaissance. I get a very 1,400s Italian vibe from all those frills. I personally think it would be awesome if Adam does rescue some fellow employees and his girlfriend at some point. I'm also hoping for a JC reference at some point.
