They edited the heck out of it. it would have been another 30 minutes longer if shown with commercials. I'm assuming you saw it in the US and it ran an hour, when it should have ended up about an hour-and-a-half with commercials. All the character development was cut if you saw it in the US, along with compassion. I watched it when it aired on BBC America - they ruined the story with editing for time. I originally watched it here on youtube... then downloaded it, and am buying series 4 soon...

The BBC is so loyal to their talent. From Blackpool,Ballykiss angel,as time goes by, to keeping up appearances, the true talent from those shows makes their way into this one. I love it. God save the Queen!
