I can't believe how sad this is. I just imagine his mother, of all people, finding him dead on his bed. It just plain old doesn't get sadder than that...I feel for this entire family. This is a pure tragedy. If he had the slightest idea of how popular he would eventually become, he wouldn't have taken his life.

The ending had me in tears. So nice to see the family all together happy and joyful and little nick with a great big smile on his face like all babies. Why do we have to grow up and become depressed? At least we know what nick looked like when he smiled.

in a dream i was talking with Elliott Smith, I was trying to talk about Nick Drake and he had no idea who i was talking about. I wanted so badly to try and make him remember, but i decided that things were for the best and changed the subject...

Thanks so much for uploading this video. What an amazing musician, I wish he was still around to see the impact his music has had on everyone, including me.

It must be incredibly painful for the people around someone so ill with depression or whatever was causing him such pain (will we ever know?) to not know how to help - it was as if his friends and family just had to stand back and watch him being buried alive
Sad that he was so amazingly gifted but the film brought home to me the sadness of any death from being too sensitive
One of Nick Drake's many contributions is that he spoke for all of the people who are beyond reach

I love it.
I was crying at the end.
Nick Drake is one of those people that you wish you could've met and when u try to "go in his skin and walk in his shoes" you realize how many other people are just like him sadly. He repersents so many unforgetable things I am so sad he did not live to see all the people he made happier by his music.
