It's still dangerous for tourist to venture over there. A lot NPA rebels and ABU SAYAF muslim terrorists lurking around. Even the local MILF and local politicians could not be trusted as some of them scheme to even do the kidnappings in order to get some ransom money. You just can't trust them yet.

I respect ur comment, MrHardrod2. While there are parts of Mindanao facing problems like the NPA & Abu Sayyaf, Glan is not one of them. I don't think u got ur info right. We have been to this place many times & each time is always safe & fun. We have never chanced upon any of the characters u mentioned. Maybe u should try visiting the Philippines, especially Mindanao, first before making such comments. Btw, what's ur nationality?
