@itsnobody Huckabee's plan will cut spending just as much as Paul's plan.
Speaking of immigration, I can let Ron Paul slide on being weak on the second amendment. However he is so weak on immigration that it can't be ignored. That is one thing he definitely needs to fix if he wants any hope of becoming the presidential nominee.

@itsnobody Paul fought for a little bit so he can pretend like he cares about gun rights.
If you don't agree with Huckabee, cool, however don't go around spreading lies & calling him a democrat. He has the endorsement of the majority of the right winged groups out there.
True, the NTU is concerned, they said Huckabee's plan will raise spending 52 billion in the first year, but he will use it on dept of Homeland Sec and the DOJ However his plan will cut spending in the long run.

@chinesedevildog Nancy Reagan is not Ronald Reagan...what do you mean not standing up for the 2nd amendment?
Ron Paul has been fighting to allow pilots to be armed for instance
Huckabee is really a Democrat, most of his policies are big governement
Nancy Reagan is a fraud
-
@itsnobody Thats funny... because Nancy Reagan said to the press that Ronald would have endorsed Huckabee and he would have seen Paul someone who refused to stand up for the second amendment
-
hah Huck is the man, and I hope to see him in 2012!
"I'm not gonna pretend he would endorse me, I wish he would"... always has something funny to say. gotta love the guy

Ron Paul was one of only four Rep.congressmen to endorse Ronald Reagan in 1976. Ronald Reagan campaigned for Ron Paul in 1978. Plus, Ron Paul is the only candidate who would have Reagan's courage. Reagan had a lot of courage and honor to pull troops out of Lebenon. He was right on when he said after pulling troops out in his memoir that "American's don't understand irrationale of middle eastern politics." He also sat down with the Soviets who had 40,000 more nuclear weapons than Iran or Iraq.

This man has the vision and character to lead our country back to greatness and HE is the unifier, not Obama. Huckabee wants to be a president to all people and he has been so open and honest with the American people. With Huckabee we KNOW what we get and we KNOW this man is authentic and loves his country and has a PROVEN record of over a decade of service as governor where he had approval ratings as high as 77% and still has 65% approval in Arkansas.

All the so called Pro Life Republicans said the same thing in hopes of pleasing both sides. That they were against abortion but that it should be up to each state to decide. That sounds Pro Choice to me.Accept one candidate Mike Huckabee.Mike said either abortion is totally right or totally wrong that it should be totally banned. The other candidates did not have the gutts to say they were totally against abortion. The other Republican candidates should hang their heads in shame, they are fakes.

I agree. I think Paul supporters have done their best here on YouTube to try and belittle Mike by their ridicules post on just about EVERY Huckabee video here, yet Mike still holds his head up high and you can see that the same spirit that Mike has had throughout this campaign has by and large been exemplified by his supporters. Paul supporters have used the "F" word to replace the H in mike's last name, showing their intelligence.
I find it amazing that the following for Ron Paul is so vocal here on YouTube but it has not really translated to the wider media or the actual voting process.
For someone who has raised a lot of campaign money - he really has not leveraged it usefully I think.
In contrast whatever you think of him - Huckabee has leveraged what little money he has quite successfully.

Well said. Many people forget how much money Paul raised. His following is rabid, but very small.

Ronald Reagan endorsed Ron Paul, Reagan would've seen Huckabee as big government Republican and would not have endorsed him

That's an interesting assessment since even Paul expressed uncertainty about Reagan's approval of his current stances (other than his belief in the gold standard). It seems doubly odd since Huckabee expended great effort toward streamlining the government of Arkansas. He even proposed deeper cuts that liberals in the Arkansas Senate blocked. Big government? Not on Huck's watch. As to your comment about who Reagan would and wouldn't have endorsed, I refer you to Huck's words in this video.

I never said Reagan would endorse Ron Paul, I said Ronald Reagan endorsed Ron Paul, back in the 1970s Reagan campaigned for Ron Paul...as for what Reagan would do I refer you to Ron Paul's words "I don't know what Reagan would've done"
As for big government, the NTU (National Taxpayer Union) says Huckabee will raise spending by $54 billion and Ron Paul would cut spending by $150 billion
Mike Huckabee is a great guy I respect, but he's a false conservative

Don't talk to me about projections. Look at his record. He streamlined the Arkansas government, cut taxes over 94 times, passed several pieces of po-life legislation, lowered unemployment, attracted businesses, created jobs and grew the economy. Paul would cut spending in no small part by pulling out of Iraq, which is unwise. Projections and speculation are not facts, whether they are about a future president or a past one.
