This is my son who is 6 months old. We have just found out he has infantile spasms, which is a form of seizure that can cause developmental delays and cerebral palsy. It may not be easy to diagnose, as it looks like a tic disorder, or GERD in babies. The eyes roll upward, but not in the back of the head. This is a deceiving disorder, because it doesnt show all of the symptoms of a seizure right away. If you suspect your child has this, please go to a pediatric hospital or get help from a pediatric neurologist right away. The faster they catch these seizures, the less damage they will do. Doctors have given us hope, but the Outcome is still to be decided, please keep us in prayer.

Matt has not had a seizure in two weeks!!! God said he would be healed, and I claimed his blessing! His EEG came back perfect this time. He will have another EEG in two weeks, and he is on Vigabatrin 1000mg per day.

  • Doesnt hurt to take him to get an eeg. It is non invasive, and can relieve your fears, but I am not a doctor. For your sake, I hope it is nothing:)
