BNSF SD60M's #8142 and #8166, GP39-2 #2837 and GP38-2's #2023 and #2005 lead a westbound manifest through Alpha, IL on BNSF's Barstow Sub. (The Peavine), on 09/23/2010.

Note: This was not a planned catch! I was in Orion fueling up my vehicle after an out of town trip, and just happened to have my camera (not my tripod) with me. I saw that there were two SD60M's, a GP39-2 and two GP38-2's leading a manifest through town, so I thought I would race up U.S. 150 to catch up with it. If this had been a duo of ES44AC's or C44-9W's pulling a string of empty coal or taconite hoppers, I wouldn't have bothered.

I apologize for the wind, the shaking and for my camera dying before I could get the last eight cars. But, like I said, this catch was not planned. I didn't want to pass up this lashup.
