A young American dressed as a stray dog crawls through the streets of Paramaribo, Suriname, South America. On his journey, he encounters other denizens of the street, their interactions blurring the line between man and dog, human and animal.

During my time there, I was fascinated by the hundreds of stray dogs that roamed the streets of the capital city, Paramaribo. While I lived in Paramaribo,I felt penetrated by the dirt, the heat, and the rain. I wondered what it would be like to offer myself to the city, on my hands and knees. I chose the stray dog as my metaphor and my character in this performance.
