This is The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion running on my new gaming pc. Not much is going on here, but I'm just showcasing my new PC, so stick around for the interesting videos ;).

Note: If you're wondering why I didn't push the AA and AF up to, say, 8 or 16 passes, I simply don't make out the difference between 2x and 16x, since most of the jagged edges and blurred textures are already taken care of with only 2 passes. Why eat up 20 FPS for something you and I won't notice?

Another note: I had a few view distance problems, most notably the Imperial City not showing up, but that's been taken care of.

'Till next time!

  • hey i got an HP laptop with these specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz,

    3 GB RAM,

Ge Force 9600 with 512 MB DDR2 dedicated memory,

    Full HD resolution,

on which settings will game run,and how well???

  • Well, I guess you could run a completely unmodded Oblivion completely maxed, with HDR and no AA.

  • are you kidin!your pc is very good!

you will ru the game in ultra high

    I have a

    old pc

    2g ran ddr2

    nvidia 8600gts

    and a a dual core 2.4 mhz

  • That's what I was saying, but HDR doesn't support AA, unless you dig into the .ini file.

  • Ultra high doesnt take much.

  • @theofrenetico

lol i have the same xD

  • hey ParanoidFreax thanks for the tip about setting AA and AF to 2x instead of 8x and 16x. i used to do the latter, but i tried 2 and 2 and the difference in graphic quality is soooo negligible but i did see improvements in performance so thank you.

  • does anyone know if i can run it with a 2 ghz prosesser and a nvidia 8200 graphics card

  • Nice. On my PC, oblivion lags bad on medium quality even with operation: optimization installed. I dont have money for a new graphics card :(

  • At frys electronics, it is $12, although it is too late for you no doubt

  • yep easily

  • can oblivion still be played on an alienware laptop with any kind of vista and can I still download mods with an alienware laptop with vista?

  • i swear that bob stick figure thing is bull shit -.-
