Not trying to sound like an asshole, but I'm sure you know 40% of the price is packaging, 50% is endorsement, branding and marketing and 10% is sub-par quality earphones. I'm sure they sound alright but for $100 you could have bought decent in-ears like sennheiser or something. If you cared about sound quality and not just the looks/popularity, that is.

I mean, Monster makes these. Same company that sells $500 HDMI cables that are proven to be exact quality as $5 cables.
